We’re only a few weeks out from the launch of Disney+, which means we’re only a few weeks out from one of the most highly anticipated projects of the fall: The first-ever live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian.
And to amp up the hype even more, the streaming service has released a new trailer for the series
Set a few years after the end of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi — so after the fall of the Galactic Empire but before the rise of the First Order — the show hails from executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and follows a lone gunfighter (played by Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal) on the outer reaches of the galaxy.
Much of the show has been shrouded in secrecy — Disney+ isn’t even sending episodes to critics for review — but that’s only made Star Wars fans more excited.
The Mandalorian premieres Tuesday, Nov. 12 on Disney+, with new episodes debuting Fridays starting Nov. 15.
