Most Anticipated Movies Of 2019

What’s up Guys!

Year 2018 has been a great year for movie lovers. Think about all the movies from Avengers: Infinity War to Deadpool, Black Panther, A Quiet,  Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Venom, Aquaman, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 among others.

If you think this year was great, trust me you will be blown away by 2019 movies lineup.

Here are some of the most anticipated films of 2019:

1. Avengers 4: Endgame:  The first trailer was dropped on December 7 2018 and we saw Tony Stark adrift in space while his colleagues Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) mourn him and try to come up with a plan to save him.

Release Date: April 26, 2019.

2. Godzilla II: King Of The Monsters

Godzilla II follows crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including Godzilla of course, as he collides with his ultimate nemesis, King Ghidorah (who has three heads). Stars Millie Bobby-Brown and Sally Hawkins. Sounds epic.

3. What Men Want

IMDb says: A woman is boxed out by the male sports agents in her profession, but gains an unexpected edge over them when she develops the ability to hear their thoughts.

Released Date: February 8 2019

4. Hellboy

IMDb says: Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

Release Date: April 12 2019

5. Captain Marvel

IMDb says: Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Release Date: March 8 2019

6. Aladdin

IMDb says: A live-action retelling of the 1992 Disney film of the same name.

Release Date:  May 24 2019

7. Toy Story 4

Pixar says that Toy Story 4 will be a “standalone” adventure/love story, which will centre around the search for Bo Peep.

The object of Woody’s affections was missing from the last movie, with Lee Unkrich (who directed Toy Story 3) saying that she had been sold at a yard sale. Crumbs.

8. The Lion King

IMDb says: CGI and live-action re-imagining of the 1994 Disney classic.

Release Date: July 19 2019

9. X-Men: The New Mutants

IMDb says: Five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will, fight to escape their past sins and save themselves.

Release Date: August 2019.

10. X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Two X-Men films in one year? Great news for Marvel fans. And Game Of Thrones fans… Maisie Williams stars in X-Men: The New Mutants, while her onscreen sister, Sophie Turner, is in Dark Phoenix.

Release Date: June 7th 2019

11. The Secret Life Of Pets

Duke and the gang return for the second instalment of The Secret Life Of Pets, and the great news is, the animals seem even crazier than before!

Release Date: Summer 2019

12. Shazam

When 14-year-old foster kid Billy Batson meets an ancient wizard at the end of a subway tunnel, he gets the power to turn into a superhero any time he wants by yelling “Shazam!” With the help of his foster brother Freddy Freeman, he learns to hone his powers in order to stop the villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana from wreaking havoc with his own powers.

Release Date: April 5 2019

13. Men In Black International

Seeing as filming took place in New York, Italy, Morocco, and London, the new film will see the global operations of the secretive alien agency and have the agents romping across the globe to take down bad guys. Thompson and Hemsworth already showed that they’re a formidable pair on “Thor: Ragnarok,” so if anyone can fill the shoes of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, it’s Thor and Valkyrie.

14. Spider-Man: Far From Home”

Peter Parker packs for vacation to Venice, Italy in this latest installment, with Holland returning as Spider-Man. His vacation is cut short by a visit from Nick Fury (Jackson), who recruits him for a new mission in which he is rumored to be teaming up with an unlikely ally, the villain Mysterio.

15. Glass

McAvoy reprises his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb, the terror with 24 personalities from “Split,” with M. Night Shyamalan returning as director. Taking place in a mental institution for those who believe they have superhuman abilities where McAvoy, Willis, and Jackson’s characters are being kept, Paulson plays the psychologist who tries to convince them that they’re just normal people as Willis’ character Dunn uses his abilities to track down Crumb.

16. John Wick 3: Parabellum

Legendary hit man John Wick must fight his way out of New York when a $14 million contract on his life makes him the target of the world’s top assassins.

Release Date: 16 May 2019
