All You Need To Know About PiggyBank.Ng

Lately, everyone seems to be asking about Piggybank.ng and how it works. Thanks to the popular social media influencer @thepamilerin who made it more popular recently.

We were talking about it in a group yesterday and I found out a lot of people don’t really know how it works and it’s amazing benefits so I decided to share the little I know about it.

I started using piggybank.ng around October 2017 and I can tell you it has been 50 Shades of Amazing 😊.

So, What is Piggybang.ng?

Piggybank.ng is an online saving platforms that helps you save your money conveniently. It offers a daily, weekly and monthly saving.

Piggybank also offers Auto Save, Quick Save and Safe Lock.

Auto Save
Auto save option allows you to save specific amount of money automatically either daily, weekly or monthly.

You can decide to save 500 daily or 1000 weekly or 10,000 monthly. You just have to set the one that works best for you.

Quick Save
The quick save option allows you to save money anytime you feel like saving. All you have to do is to go to the dashboard and select the quicksave option and follow the instructions.

Safe Lock
Safe Lock” as the name implies, you can save and lock your savings. You can only safe lock your savings on the app.
The safelock works in a way you get to save any amount of money for as long as you want (10 days – 1000 days) with an interest.

You won’t be able to access the money until you reach the withdrawal date you set. You get interests on every money you safelock immediately.

Is my money save on Piggybank?

Piggybank is safe to use, it is a subsidiary of United Bank of Africa. It is an extension of a savings account with UBA.

You can also add your next of kin so that if anything happens (nothing will happen to you IJN 😁), the next of kin can claim your money.

How do I open a Piggybank and start saving?
 
1.) Visit www.piggybank.ng and create a free account with your name, email address and phone number.

2.) Your secure password would automatically be sent to your email which you can change later.

3.) Save your first N100 using your ATM card (Mastercard or Visa)

4.) Then set a convenient savings plan

When and how can I withdraw from Piggybank.ng?

You can withdraw for FREE on piggybank only on set Withdrawal dates. Which are;

31st of March
30th of June
30th of Septemeber
31st of December

After the request has been made, your money will be sent back to your Account instantly.

You should, however, note that any day outside the Withdrawal days will attract a 5% penalty fee. This means that if you withdraw on the 15th of July 2018 you’d be charged 5% of the amount that you want to withdraw.

You can get also get paid  for referring people, cool yeah?

All you have to do is navigate to your account settings in the app and click the on the “500 each for you and your Friends” to get your referral code.

You also get piggy points when you save and convert the points to money 😁😁

How to earn Piggy Points

Save;
N2000 – N4999 = 1 point
N5000 – N9999 = 2 points
N10000 – N49999 = 10 points
N50000 – N99999 = 25 points
N100000 and above = 55 points

You can then convert it to money
1 Piggy Point = N10
